The Leaky Bucket® Study by Restaurant Marketing Group is an online survey of 160 brands completed among 5,639 adults between 18 and 64 years old. Each brand in the study was measured only among respondents who had tried the brand in the past six months. Customers who fell in the Leaky Bucket® of a brand, meaning that they stated they were unlikely to return, were asked which areas, (Food, Menu, Atmosphere, Price/Value, Location, Service, and Family Friendliness) were the primary drivers for their decision to not return. The study was conducted in March 2009.
